Evan Furness
Evan Furness is an interdisciplinary artist from rural Epekwitk/Prince Edward Island. His practice uses DIY approaches to image and bookmaking, as well as audio, video and performance, to create immersive, site-specific installations. He has exhibited throughout Canada and was a part of the River Clyde Pageant’s 2022 Solstice Walk as a Community Project.
Evan has worked for artist-run centers and art institutions such as this town is small, Confederation Centre Art Gallery and is one of the co-founders of Ch’town Zine Fest. In addition to his work in the visual arts, he has worked in film and television as a sound recordist and art director. Evan received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Mount Allison University in 2018 and is excited to work with River Clyde Pageant for their 2023 season.
